DIgital LAser PROduction: Digital Twins of Laser Processing for Multi-Capability Manufacturing of Complex Components and Certification

The DILAPRO team was pleased to participate in the IIW International Conference and National Welding Days, which took place in Genoa. The event brought together over 2,000 attendees and served as a prime opportunity for discovery and collaboration.

The International Institute of Welding (IIW) is the world's largest and most prestigious network for the exchange of knowledge in welding and related technologies. Its annual conference was a key global event that gathered experts from industry, academia, and research organisations to discuss the latest advancements in materials processing, joining technologies, and smart manufacturing.

For the DILAPRO project, a presence at this conference was vital. It provided the perfect platform to share our advancements in laser-based manufacturing directly with a highly relevant audience. By connecting with leading professionals, we were able to gain new insights, foster key relationships, and highlight how DILAPRO is contributing to the future of advanced manufacturing within the wider welding and joining community.

The team was excited for a week of learning, networking, and exciting new insights. Visitors to our booth were able to meet the project team and learn more about our work.
