DIgital LAser PROduction: Digital Twins of Laser Processing for Multi-Capability Manufacturing of Complex Components and Certification

On January 8-9, IMDEA Materials Institute hosted a visit from colleagues at DTU as part of the DILAPRO Project. This visit was a pivotal step in strengthening collaboration and advancing our shared mission to develop innovative solutions for the project.

The visit focused on:
- Exploring physical simulations and experimental characterization activities carried out at IMDEA within the DILAPRO framework.
- Gaining hands-on insights into experimental setups and how they operate.
- Discussing how physical and numerical simulations can complement each other and be seamlessly integrated into a unified solution methodology for DILAPRO Project.

This fruitful exchange emphasized the importance of collaboration between research institutions, combining diverse expertise to tackle complex challenges. By aligning our efforts, we’re not only pushing the boundaries of materials science but also shaping the future of sustainable innovation.

A big thank you to all participants for their engagement and contributions during this visit—your collaboration is driving DILAPRO’s success!

Together, let’s continue advancing innovation in additive manufacturing!
