The DILAPRO project was a highlight at the Danish Technological Institute (DTI) Open Day on Directed Energy Deposition (DED), a promising
technology shaping the future of industrial 3D printing.
Hosted at DTI on 3rd September, the event prominently featured DILAPRO as one of the key European projects coordinated by the Institute,
demonstrating our contribution to advancing additive manufacturing.
Discussions throughout the Open Day were focused on the commercial benefits and potential of DED, exploring:
• DED as a cost-effective alternative to traditional manufacturing.
• The potential for producing larger and faster 3D-printed parts.
• Practical industry case studies and business applications for success.
The event was a valuable opportunity for knowledge sharing, connecting with the community, and exploring DTI’s impressive
metal 3D printing facilities.
