On 27 August, the DILAPRO team, along with the FLASH and OPERATIC projects, hosted a successful workshop at the NOLAMP20 Conference. This esteemed conference is a key event for the Nordic laser community, bringing together experts from industry, research institutes, and academia. The event highlights the latest in laser R&D, focusing on topics such as materials processing, systems innovation, and smart manufacturing.

The workshop, titled "Smart Laser Processing in Action: Monitoring, Digitalisation & Materials Innovation", was designed to move beyond traditional presentations. Participants engaged in interactive debates at themed stations, discussing real-world scenarios that included:
• Real-Time Monitoring in Laser Surface Treatment.
• Digital Twin Integration in Laser Advanced Manufacturing.
• LCA in Laser Systems.

This hands-on format encouraged a direct and focused exchange of ideas and insights on critical challenges in the field.
